September 23rd, 24th and October 1st - 10am until 5pm.

Days filled with FUN! Treat the kids to days of fun and adventure amongst the brilliant colour of the tulips. The best bit? Kids under 16 are free!

Paul Jamieson - The music manPaul Jamieson The Music Man

Paul is a multi-talented entertainer breathing a breath of fresh air into the children's music scene. He has made guest appearances on Foxtel's ‘Fun House’and has also had guest appearances on Channel Seven's ‘The Book Place’. His songs are fun for kids and more often laced with contagious rhythms that have everyone up and dancing along.

Fairy Monica

hails from the land of tulips and has delightful stories to tell. Her terrific imagination and sense of fun makes for great children’s entertainment. If you look carefully, you may find her giving stories in and around fairy hollow.

Black Snake Productions

Wildlife demonstrations where children and adults can interact with animals they wouldn’t usually get a chance to, such as snakes, lizards, crocodiles and more. They convey a message of conservation, information and safety. The Black Snake team has years of experience with an aim to educate about the amazing world of Australian wildlife. This is a hands on operation allowing you to safely touch the ‘friendly’ animals. Black Snake Productions will be open all day on September 23rd and 24th. They will also be given a presentation on the main stage at 11am and 2pm.

Serenity Farm

Serenity Farm prides itself on a large variety of farm animals and quality interaction from trained staff ensuring your child has a memorable farm animal experience. Children are invited to interact with all the animals including: a miniature horse, calves, sheep and lambs, baby goats, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, a rooster and his hens, rabbits and friendly miniature pigs.

Mungart Yonga

Aboriginal Dance Troupe tell the story of their people and their land through music and dance. Mungart is an Aboriginal word meaning ‘Jam Tree’ from which they made their clubs. Yongah translates as Kangaroo. As the troupe dance, their story is narrated and their legend told.

Stax the Didgeman

Learn all about the didgeridoo and have a go at playing this authentic Australian instrument. It is a great activity for kids to get involved in. Stax is a gifted and respected didgeridoo maker, performer and teacher.

Face Painting

Children and adults alike are captivated with the transformation of their faces as Elena works her craft with impressive speed. From animals to monsters, princesses to super heroes, Elena prides herself on never saying no to a request and always astonishing the onlooker. Elena works with colours that stretch the imagination and completely change your perception of the face.

Crazy Hair Parties

will do a range of crazy hair styles with coloured hair spray, gel, glitter, feathers, ribbons and more. Whether it’s a punk or a princess Penny can create the style for you.

Mez’s Card Works

Create a lasting memory of your visit to the Tesselaar Tulip Festival with a take home card. Kids can create 3D cards for all occasions. A hands on activity involving sticking, pasting, painting and drawing.

Linda Kent Pottery Workshop

Lynda works with the children to create pieces they will be very proud of. If you would like to see some of Lynda’s work please see here

Gnome Hunt

There are nine Gnomes hidden within our gardens. If you can find all nine of them, we have a special prize waiting for you at our souvenir shop. Each gnome is named after a variety of tulip they guard and protect.  Look up and down as these gnomes are mischievous little creatures and conceal themselves well. This activity is available every day of the Tesselaar Tulip Festival.
