Yes we are open on the public holiday! Come along and tap your toes to the music while indulging in delicious Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges foods and beverages. Entry includes complimentary tastings from some amazing boutique wineries, distilleries and breweries. Live Music with Dr Jazz and the Gangsters Palace, Apple Ida and Her Cider Press Band and The Daryl McKenzie Jazz Ensemble will entertain all weekend long. The Tulip Fairy will be telling tales in the fairy garden. There are some delicious market stalls and all the fun of the fair with our daily activities and features.
Local Libations
During the Tesselaar Tulip Festival Food, Wine and Jazz weekend, each adult receives two complimentary tasting tokens on entry. With a range of Yarra Valley wineries, distilleries and breweries to choose from, everybody’s taste buds should be well catered for. Emersleigh Estate, Yarrawood Estate, Hard Road Brewing, Grand Ridge Brewery and Killik Rum & Ginfinity.
Wines are available by the glass, so you can sit back and enjoy the jazz amongst the splendour of the tulips. You can also stock up the cellar with some great take home packs. Tesselaar and participating wineries practice responsible service of alcohol – please ensure you have a designated driver for the day, or take advantage of our convenient charter bus to Lilydale station.
